Wow, it's been a long time since I put anything up here. In fact, it's been awhile since I put up anything anywhere. It's very cliche to say that you're busy, but anyone who has a kid knows, you are busy. Chloe is over 19 months old now and we're all having a ball with her. She's really getting into stuff now and her personality is really coming through, she's pretty much a ham and loves to do things for a laugh. I thought I would post some stuff from Christmas as I took quite a few pictures that weekend.
This is Chloe just a few days before Christmas when she discovered the extra Tickle Me Elmo X that we had stashed in our office. oh...and my wallet. She pretty much has control over that anyway.
Here she is ripping into her presents from 1 grandma (Lindy's Mom) on Christmas Eve.
Once she got TJ Bearytales open, it went straight to my friend Chris to get it open.
Same thing, just a different angle. and sideways...
Here's Chris getting his present. Which was a long box stuffed with Spider-Man comics. A nice run of Spectacular Spider-Man from the 70's #'s 9-120 or so with a bunch of others mixed in.
Here's what Chris got me, wich was a Sideshow Toys 12" scale Lords of Sith Darth Vader figure. This thing was extremely limited and was actually only on sale at the 2006 San Diego Comic Con. Apparently they found 6 in a wharehouse and offered up a lottery, and Chris won and actually gave it to me. I know I would not have that kind of will power. And yes, that's Darth Vader, look at the eyes.
Lindy's Mom and step Dad also got her a portable Dora bed and she got some Dora PJ's, here they mix.
Here's the tree Christmas Morning. On a weird side note, this was my first christmas morning that I did not spend at my parents. For the first time I had a family to do our own Christmas morning. I'm Old.
We all enjoyed a cookie. You can't see me, cause I"m taking the picture.
We got this Elmo bike for her like a year ago, but she wasn't quite old enough. That is my arm!
This was very much a weeble christmas. She got every fairytale weeble ever made I think.
...and some sweet Sesame Street booty. You can see me in the background playing with her Itsy Bitsy Spider-Man.
Some of the aftermath...
Some more...
My parents and my brother Jason and sister in law Cara came over later for more presents and breakfast.
Dad looks suprised and Cara looks...down.
Here's Chloe's score in it's entirety. It kind of freaks me out how many little eyes are looking back at me.
Here's another upright with the tree.
We plan on taking a picture of Chloe with her Christmas stuff every year. This one was taken the day after Christmas about three seconds after she got up.
We did it last year too.
An older picture but one of my favorites. |
